Wondering just how long into the year you can play a round of golf? You might be surprised to learn that year-round golfing on the Island is not at all unusual due to our enjoying some of the mildest winters Canada has to offer.
This public course presents long fairways for some challenging golf, but you will fall in love with the physical beauty of the course and its 12 lakes, 2 waterfalls, views of the Olympic Mountains, as well as wildlife dotting the course (keep an eye out for eagles!).
Their signature 17th hole (played by Tiger Woods in 1994) is spectacular with its forty-foot waterfall, narrow valley, and yes – even a Japanese garden!
Don’t miss having a snack at the turn or lunch at Forester’s Bistro & Bar with excellent food and panoramic views of the 1st, 10th, and 18th holes.

We’ve had several guests of Prancing Horse Retreat bring back some amazing stories of their rounds of golf at Olympic View … we can’t wait to hear yours!
